Lightning

Hi, everyone.

My name is Lightning, you may remember me by my HSCI name of Koala. I was one of the "sleeping bag kitties" who were left outside HSCI back in December. I just want to tell you what my life is like at my forever home. First of all, my name has changed. My parents agreed that I looked like a koala bear, but thought I should have a name more fitting to my personality. They took one look at how fast I can run and grab things and decided on "Lightning."

My days are now spent being the king of the house. I love to look out the windows at the birds, squirrels and bunnies. I am also an "only child," so I have lots of toys and individual attention. I love playing with my toys, especially my red bug. I amuse my parents and grandparents by fetching like a dog. They think I’m hilarious!

I also like to stretch out and take naps on the couch during the day. Since I'm such a big cat, I can stretch out to be pretty long! I also enjoy watching the fish. As you can see, I have quite the rough life!
