Boo Boo

Truth be told, when I first adopted Boo Boo ("Canyon"), I was a little scared of the commitment (Silly, right?!). We had a rough first week - but not to her fault at all! I had never owned my very own pet, so I figured at the ripe old age of 30, it was time to give it a go.

I am *so incredibly glad* that I made it past my initial hesitation phase - because now I cannot imagine my home or life without Boo Boo in it! She has such a spunky personality and is the most loving cat ever. Everyone that comes over comments on what a lover she is. She spends her days bird watching on the back of the couch, playing with her millions of toys, and listening to NPR, which I leave on for her when I go to work!

She is an amazing first pet and has come a very long way since the first day I brought her home - when she ran straight from the cat carrier to a small opening between my stove and fridge. She curls up next to me on the couch when I'm working on my computer and we even had a little photoshoot together for Christmas card pictures!

I would encourage everyone to consider adopting an adult cat - Boo Boo was 5/6 years old when I adopted her and it baffles me why someone hadn't already snatched her up! Boo Boo is playful like a kitten and has a sassy and loving personality. She's the perfect cat and I'm so glad she's mine!
