Laika Laika has been a wonderful addition to our family. On our second trip to the Humane Society, we had the pleasure of meeting this four year old bundle of puppy energy!  After playing a while we realized that she was exactly what we needed and we were exactly what she needed too! Her adjustment to family life has been nothing short of extraordinary!  Since nothing was known of her past, it was a bit of a mystery of what we had in store!  She learned to quickly about house training and learned even faster about love!  Our two children beam with joy every morning when they come out of their rooms and our greeted by their friend Laika! Now Laika is almost a year old and we could not imagine our family without her!  She follows us from room to room and is always where the action is. She has even accompanied us on a trip to Ohio, where she had her first encounter with deer!  She was so disappointed they wouldn't play! Thank you to the friends and staff at the Humane Society for uniting so many animals and families!
