In January 2000, David and I had decided that we both loved cats and were ready to start our feline family. David went to HSCI to look at the kittens and came home and said that he had found one. Later that day we both went to HSCI and when we went in the kitten room, she couldn't be found. Anastastia (Sweetie), a beautiful gray kitten, was hiding under one of the cages in the corner of the room. I finally coaxed her out and she immediately attached her front claws to the skin on my neck. I knew at that moment that we would be "attached" for a very long time.
Sweetie is now 8 years old and doing wonderful. She is a very lovable and beautiful cat. We have since added two more cats to our feline family. Zoe (black) was from a nearby farm and Lily (a beige long-hair that HSCI named Farrah Fawcett), was adopted in March 2004.
We love our daughters very much and consider them all our little girls gift wrapped in hairy little bodies.
THANKS HSCI!
