Betty
I just wanted to give you an update on Betty. We have had her for about three months now. She is such a sweet dog. She now has a black lab sister who she is very fond of and two cat sisters, one is her sleeping buddy. We met Betty at the Busey Bank Cause for Paws event and it was love at first sight! She gets lots of attention and just loves to sit with her head on our laps.
Betty is learning how to jump up on the bed at night and snuggles up with me just like a little teddy bear. When we come home from work she is so happy that she can hardly control herself, she wags her tail and talks to us. Betty loves our two sons and loves to give them lots of kisses..in fact, she loves to give the whole family lots of kisses.
Betty was shy at first and was scared to go outside but has completely become a very loveable part of our family and has gotten over many of her fears. She is completely potty trained and very good at "sitting", especially for a treat. A couple of her favorite things to do since coming home are to take walks with Darby (her doggy sister), sleep on the couch and walk around with all of her new furry pillows (her favorite things).
