Nelson
Hi, I adopted Nelson last Friday and I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that he is
doing great. He has adapted to his new surroundings remarkably well and is enjoying his new home.
On the first night I brought him home, he slept with me most of the night but at one point, left
the bed. Apparently he wanted to bring me a 'gift' for giving him a new home. When I awoke the
next morning, I found a small, red potato in the middle of my bedroom floor. I keep them in a bowl
on my countertop in the kitchen. While getting on the counters is not a good thing, it was rather
cute that he brought me a potato in the night. He's a great cat.
Thanks for all you do there - I know it isn't easy. Just take comfort in knowing that what you
do is appreciated by those like me who happen to come along at the right time and adopt just
the right pet.
