What expenses do you have?
Over 90% of our budget is directly related to care, housing, and adopting animals. This includes the mortgage payment on our building, veterinary care, utilities, pet food, payroll, postage and other necessities. We work hard to obtain as many donations and discounts as possible to keep costs low. Other expenses include educational materials, investigation supplies, and accounting services.
HSCI is a 501 (3) (c) non-profit organization and undergoes a yearly audit.
