Busey Bank - Cause For Paws / Dog Wash - June 2007
Busey Bank held its seventh annual Cause For Paws on June 16, benefiting the Humane Society of Central Illinois. HSCI can't thank them enough for their support! The weather was spectacular, which encouraged a terrific turnout. Radio remotes with WJBC, WBWN, and WBNQ helped spread the word about the dog wash and nail trims, and the donation items needed for the shelter. Adoptable dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and, yes, even rats were on site and enjoyed lots of attention. Many thanks to Busey Bank, Radio Bloomington, HSCI staff and volunteers, and everyone who stopped by for the dog wash, nail trim, donations, or just to see what was going on! We appreciate all the support and couldn't do it without you! |
