Open House at Windcrest Farms - May 2007 Windcrest Farms, a horse boarding/training facility near Colfax, hosted a special Open House benefitting HSCI. The event included a basket silent auction, horse riding demonstration, grooming demonstration, temporary tattoos, face painting, jumping demo, free pony rides, horse photo booth, and a Colfax Lanes Restaurant concession stand. HSCI joined the festivities by bringing along some pets available for adoption, and a few tables of items for sale.

There were many horses to meet on this gorgeous day.

The horses were eager to see the visitors.

Erin is taking advantage of the pony/horse rides. It was Erin's first time on a horse and she loved it.

Jack and Maxine, a couple dogs available for adoption, were quite the popular guests!

Windcrest Farms, their clients, and supporting businesses contributed many items to pack the baskets that were part of the silent auction. Visitors sure had many temptations to choose from.
