Grand Opening - Ribbon Cutting! - July 2006 HSCI's Grand Opening Celebration was highlighted by a Ribbon-Cutting ceremony with the McLean County Chamber of Commerce on Friday, July 14, at the new Pet Adoption Center. Also present were HSCI Board Members, HSCI Staff, HSCI Members, and welcome supporters!

Our ribbon-cutting was very well-attended with many not in the picture or behind others. HSCI is very grateful for the support of those who came out to help us celebrate the occasion.

As is the case for HSCI, everyone stops as a small puppy carried by a staff member is introduced. Several dogs joined us briefly outside for this special occasion. Our relocation was all about our pets having a great place to stay before they find their home.
