Pet Blessing at Epiphany Catholic Church - October 2005 In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals, the Epiphany Catholic Church held a Pet Blessing on their lawn. The event included a short Catholic service, a blessing with holy water, and a short prayer. It was a nice day for a Pet Blessing.

Lots of people and pets turned out for the Pet Blessing. In attendance were dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, a tarantula, and more.

The pets also had an opportunity to meet some new friends while sporting the bandana they received for this occasion.

And the double belly rub was pretty nice too!
