Corn Dog Walk and Contest - May 2003 In May 2003 Uniquely Bloomington! and the Humane Society of Central Illinois presented the 2nd Annual Corn Dog Walk and Contest, a 2 mile walk through Downtown Bloomington. This event was part of the Keep the Bloom in Bloomington Festival. Proceeds from the event were donated to HSCI! Awards were presented for dogs in various categories including "Pet - Owner look alike contest" and "Dog that best represents the theme". This is a fun event that everyone enjoys taking part in again.

Midway through the walk, many of the dogs needed a water break. This participant laid down to drink an entire bowl.

The Corn Dog Walk event benefited from a great day. The weather was perfect for a stroll through town.

As you can see, Rocky is camera shy!

The group returns to the headquarters of the Keep the Bloom festivities.

After the event, several drawings occurred where participants could win a variety of prizes.

Lhana, Rocky, and Maddie (R to L) were introduced to the crowd by Amanda.

At the end, the three dogs from HSCI were introduced and met those in the crowd.
