Carlos O'Kelly's Mexican Café - Cinco de Mayo Party! - May 2003 On Monday May 5, HSCI and Bloomington-Normal were fortunate that the Bloomington Carlos O'Kelly's Mexican Café hosted their corporate Cinco de Mayo Party. HSCI was the 2003 benefiting charity for the Bloomington-Normal location. The party began at 4:00 pm. Included in the evening was a WBNQ radio remote with Susan and Fasig, silly dances performed by the Carlos O'Kelly's staff, a magician, and the Mighty Groove Trio!

Carlos O'Kelly's did a promotion during April for HSCI where customers could purchase a cat or dog cut-out for a donation. Tony, manager, planned the promotion and a Cinco de Mayo celebration that ended the promotion.

Beginning at 4:00, there were two bands, a radio remote with WBNQ, and entertainment by Carlos O'Kelly's staff. Of course, there was the traditional food and drinks associated with Cinco de Mayo.

Inside, the restaurant was packed. Many came to enjoy the food and specials of the night.
