On Thursday, March 1, HSCI will hold its first major fundraiser of the year - and we need your help!
"Mardi Paws" will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. At the Holiday Inn across from the Central Illinois Regional Airport, Empire Street, Bloomington. The Happy Hour" event will raise awareness about the mission of the Humane Society of Central Illinois, will raise money for the Pet Adoption Center, and will be a fun way to unwind at the end of a day.
We are looking for volunteers who will serve as a table host for the evening. By volunteering to serve as a table host, you will be raising at least $400 for the organization. Host responsibilities include:
| Invite seven others to join you at your table. Each of your seven guests will commit to writing a check for $50.00 (or more) to HSCI. | |
| Collect pledge cards and checks by the end of the event. | |
| Donate a gift basket for a silent auction. (We ask that you don't ask businesses to donate items for your gift basket so that we are not competing with the auction which will be held in May.) | |
| Attend the event and enjoy the time with your guests. |
If you would like to host a table, would like information, would like to attend, or make a donation and need a pledge card, please complete our Mardi Paws form!
Please see the Mardi Paws leaders guide
for details about being a table leader.

When a concerned citizen reports the abuse of an animal to the proper authorities, he or she is not only helping that particular animal, but a message is being sent that ALL acts of animal abuse should be taken seriously.
